Baseball Hitting Tips — The Baseball Overcoming Fear
First, please understand that if you are afraid of the ball, you're not alone. All the opposite is true. In fact, almost all hitters in baseball at all levels are afraid of the ball either way. Although the amount of fear varies considerably.
There may be possibly obtained by a pitch and hit it could have been very painful experience and give you a very unpleasant memory lasting. Being beaten by a pitched ball can be just sad and scary and you have every right to be afraid of the world.
If this is the case, take some time for most to reduce fear. The best medicine in the world is much, much stick. The bat without going through the painful experience is still the best cure and you should be able to get your fear under control much better.
Never be ashamed to be afraid of the ball. Many are afraid of hitting the ball and the amount of fear and may vary. Many do not want to admit they are afraid. So if you have fear of Ball, believe me, you're not alone by any means.
Baseball Training tips that should help you:
Open your position and head turn more toward the pitcher. It seems a bit ironic recommend turning towards the pitcher if you have a fear of the ball. But what happens is you see the ball much better. And seeing the ball better you will feel much more confident you can exit height if necessary.
Make sure the front shoulder and front legs are not too high. Make sure you are not even close to any obstruction ball.
With the younger players in particular, not a Tennis Ball or plastic and sometimes throw the ball to them. Watch and enjoy as your confidence grows when they realize they can safely get out of the way of the ball. This is one of the best baseball training exercises can be used to help a player, especially a younger one.
And remember, the surest way out of the way at a height inside. Tuck chin to chest, bend at the waist and make a room back to the receiver. Think of it as having a nose to nose with Hunter's argument. This will protect your head and face, chest, stomach and groin. You are much better being beaten in the upper half or the lower back or back to be beaten anywhere on the front of your body.
