Ice Hockey Equipment, A Brief History
Hockey is a sport that is favored in cold climates during the winter and all the fans around the world. We believe that hockey is related to prehistory, but the word of hockey has been used since the 16th century to describe the game in 1893, the first matches were out both at Yale University and Johns Hopkins University and in 1903. The first professional team was formed called the Portage Lakers in Michigan.
Since then, hockey ice in the interior has become a popular sport. With the hard ice surface, discs fly more than 100 miles per hour to an hour and as harsh as the game is played by teams racing, ice hockey can be very dangerous for people to play.
Safety Equipment
