The different types of black tea
Sweet and spicy. A touch of chocolate. The sweet scent of orchids. These distinctive flavors that are all black tea apart from other teas. Do not get me wrong though. The four types of tea – white, green, oolong and black – come from the leaves of the same plant, Camellia sinensis, but there are differences which can be as subtle as a touch of flowery flavor or as obvious as the color of tea.
What separates black tea other teas?
Black Tea has always been prized for its taste exceptional taste and rich color and aroma. But if all types of tea are the same plant, making black tea is highlighted? What makes your taste? Why is it darker?
The difference may come from a place where part of the plant used to make tea. In the case of white tea, the leaves are used in the tips of branches, especially the leaves and shoots can be the first two leaves in the bud. This is in fact extremely delicate flavor of tea white.
On the other hand, black tea is made from mature leaves of Camellia sinensis. The leaves are fully developed. When soaked, the resulting flavor is natural wealth and taste responsibly.
Another source of distinction is that black tea, unlike green tea and oolong tea is fully oxidized during treatment. This is actually another reason why black tea are full bodied and strong in flavor, compared to green tea, which is more delicate and sweet flavor.
The black teas
There are several types of black tea on the market today. Often the difference in names, which are taken in the districts in the country where they occur. So you may have heard of Assam (India), Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and Yunnan (China). Each of these types of black tea has characteristics different, depending on local conditions in different regions where they occur.
Besides often being named for the district in which they are grown, TE Blacks were classified initially according to what comes out of the tea factory has been collected. Although white tea is harvested once a year leaf buds of spring, tip reform – including the leaf bud and two leaves in the bud – to retrieve a black tea. This has resulted in classifications ranging from Pekoe (pronounced 'PECK-oh ") others such as Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe and Pekoe Tippy Golden Orange flowering.
What is black tea
Almost all tea produced Camellia sinensis from naturally contain caffeine. The difference in treatment does not change the caffeine content. Therefore, black tea, oolong tea, green tea, white and about the same caffeine, fall in the range of 25-60 mg of caffeine in a 6 oz Cup
In addition, black tea contains more antioxidants are good for body. You may have heard about the many health benefits of green tea. The reason, of course, is the rich antioxidant content, green tea. And because tea black is formed the same plant as green tea, juice, which shows the profitability of black tea may be your health.
