Using a Logitech webcam on Mac problems …?
Ok, I'll try to use the Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX on my Mac Mini. MacCam I installed the drivers, the new version. (0.9.1) The webcam is detected through Skype and Photobooth, but not in iChat, I would use it. So when I talk to someone through Skype for a while with the microphone sound is cut for them and that are static, and not play with my settings to get the sound the microphone to work again. Is it possible to solve these problems? Should I try an earlier version of Maccam or something? Thanks!
Unfortunately, iChat, securities, only supports FireWire cameras (digital cameras and the iSight). However, there is an addon called iChatUSBCam, which is http://www.ecamm.com/mac/ichatusbcam/ available works in tandem with the drivers for the webcam working Maccam
