Why China requested the U.S. Congress to withdraw the delivery of the gold medal in the Dalai Lhama?
China all the news is censored by the government and citizens know only what the Communist Party of permits. Surely it would have been wiser to ignore just do not know the incident?
I am currently studying in China. People here said that Tibet was "peacefully liberated" when in reality its citizens were brutally murdered. The Dalai Lama fled Tibet to avoid would be killed. Because the Communist Party believes in the existence of one China, not like Tibet and Taiwan, saying should be released. In my opinion, could be because the government is afraid that the Dalai Lama could be a figure that could inspire people to fight for freedom. United States recognize this, gives you more power, instead of recognizing that Tibet is part of China. It may seem strange that was made public, but I've read about it on CNN, CCTV not English. I guess that most Chinese do not know what happened, but that made China look tyrant with the rest of the world. To top ills, U.S. made during the meeting of five of the PAC. But this is just my opinion and what one can speculate that a U.S. citizen in China.
